Answer to Trivia
Comic books are certainly more in vogue now than when this actor took inspiration from them in the early 1980s, but I think you'd still be hard-pressed to name this actor off the top of your head. You see, this actor changed his name to distance himself from his very successful family in the movie business so he could make a name for himself, even if it wasn't his birth name.
Nicolas Kim Coppola was born on January 7, 1964, but when he was looking to make it into the film world in the early 1980s, he borrowed a last name from Marvel comics hero Luke Cage. His uncle Francis Ford Coppola was fast becoming a household name and Nic's choice was a rather bold one that I'd argue paid off in spades for him.
Nic Cage's latest film Willy's Wonderland is now available on Blu-ray and DVD. Unsubscribe
